If you’re anything like us, you and your friends and family love to share photos with
eachother. Sometimes the photos are on Facebook or Picasa, and sometimes they are
sent or received with Gmail or Yahoo mail. So how can a person keep track of all these
photos? How do you get photos out of mailboxes? How do you copy these photos to your
favorite photo site? How do you pass them to other friends or family members? And how
can you make a collection of photos from different photo sites?
We developed Showzey to solve these problems. Showzey will help you find and manage
all of your photos, even the ones you took and forgot about. Using Showzey, you’ll have
access to all of your photos scattered across the far reaches of the internet.
A: Showzey streamlines your photo retrieval, making it faster and easier to see all of your friends photos with the click of a button. Showzey shows you all the latest photo activity of your friends and family, plus older photos you may have missed You can browse all their photographs, tag them, write captions on them and more, and your activities on their photographs will be immediately communicated to them on Facebook. We’re even adding a feature that lets you show them your photo activity with a newsfeed!
A: Showzey will find these photos for you, and keep them at your fingertips. You can access Showzey through your Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and Gmail accounts, even if you don’t have any photos on these sites. Once you connect to these accounts, Showzey will collect all your photographs, your friends photographs, even links to photo albums, and present them to you in a convenient interface.
A: We respect your privacy and your need for security. When you connect to one of the sites that support password-less authentication and authorization (Yahoo! Flickr. You can also choose to save these photographs on one of your social networking sites, such as Facebook. When the photographs are from your social networking sites, some of them we might cache on our server temporarily. If you like, you can save them on your computer or copy them to other sites.
Please be aware of copyright restrictions on the photographs you access using Showzey. They are governed by the source site of the photographs.
A: Yes, Showzey is designed to make it easy to do this. After all, long before photographs got on the Web, when families and friends shared photographs, people could ask for a copy of photographs they see and take it with them and put in their own albums. In Showzey you can do this in several ways. You can save a photo in one of your photosets. Think of photosets as your virtual photo albums. You can save a photo on your own computer. Or you can save a photo in one of your other on-line photo albums on any of the supported photo sharing sites.
A: Yes. You will find it in the first pull-down menu near the top of the Showzey window. You can put that RSS feed in your iGoogle or MyYahoo page.

of their own privacy, letting them know their photographs are visible to you on Showzey.
We use only the publicly available mechanisms officially provided by Facebook to
Showzey (and every other application supported by Facebook) to access your information
in Facebook. By default, Showzey will publish on your wall:
• when you connect to Showzey and catalog photos
• when you mark a photo or a friend as a favorite
• when you add caption on a photo
